Who we are

What we collect and why

• When you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or Facebook: your name, contact details, address, photos of your furniture and the details of the job. We use these to give you a quote, arrange and carry out the work, and invoice you (lawful basis: steps before entering a contract, and the contract itself).
• Accounting records such as invoices are kept as long as the law requires (normally 6 years) (lawful basis: legal obligation).
• Website visits: our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running (lawful basis: legitimate interests).

This website has no contact forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. We never sell your information.

Online estimator

Our instant estimator at estimate.cmcrespray.com collects photos and contact details to price your job. It has its own privacy notice, cookie policy and terms, shown on that site.

Who we share it with

Only with providers we need to run the business: our website host (Vercel), email and messaging services (such as WhatsApp and Facebook, which have their own privacy policies), and our accountant. Some of these may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Customer and job records are kept for up to 6 years for tax and warranty reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. If you use the light/dark button, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. That is only for the feature you asked for, isn't used to track you, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
